About the school
Focus Business School (FBS) is a course in entrepreneurship based on Christian values. It was founded in 2008 by the Swedish entrepreneur Marco Strömberg, who has a degree in business administration and previously worked as a missionary in Asia. Since then the course has spread and changed countless lives all over the world, and it's currently paving its way into new nations as we are training and equipping local entrepreneurs to become teachers of FBS in their own countries.
We work towards financial development with individuals that later on impact entire societies. We focus especially on groups with low income and social challenges. We want to create opportunities for self-reliance, work-creating investment and community outreach, where there has previously been poverty. We also want to equip people who have received welfare and turn them into entrepreneurs. We run FBS to support the creation of a new generation of entrepreneurs with a positive impact on the world, doing business with good ethics and morals.
The course is split up into two courses containing 48 lessons each, covering topics like "Bringing your personal finances into balance", "How to prepare for and run a business" and "How to live with biblical values and ethics in business life." The teaching is simple and practical. It is especially adapted to those who haven'´t started a business yet. For those who on the other hand already have started a business it is remarkable to see the difference in the company between the start of the course and the end.
Classes are scheduled only once a week, meaning that you can continue your current occupation while going through the course. Throughout the course you will also hand in assignments each week that are an important part of the education. These will be useful for your personal life as the assignments are focused on you exploring your goals, visions and financial lives. So we kindly ask you to make sure you have sufficient time not only for classes but also to thoroughly do the assignments, as the impact and results of the course in your life will depend on the effort you choose to put in.

Each course is 12 weeks long, including one 2-3 hour session each week as well as following assignments that will vary in length and difficulty.

Course 1 – Basic
The Basic course one is for anyone wanting good and ethical foundations in personal finance and business. Throughout the course we will cover topics such as:

Course 2 – Continuation
The Continuation course is for those who have completed the Basic course and want to continue by starting a business or developing their business. The course includes more advanced business principles and teachings and mentorship. We will dive deeper in topics such as:

Is the school only for christians?
Although the course material is based on christian foundations and principles, we deeply encourage everyone of any religion and belief to participate in the course. We believe the Bible is a book that is helpful for everyone as we have seen its teachings and principles change millions of lives all over the world.
What will I learn at Focus Business School?
